PROGRAM ACTIVITIES

1. BANNET - Historical and geographical ties of Kikinda with Timisoara and Szeged is the base for sustainability of BANNET - Banat NGO Network. t BANNET has to connect citizens of Banat through the cross-boarder cooperation of the NGO from Romanian, Hungarian and Yugoslav part of Banat, aimed to assure its fully participation to sustainable development of Banat as an Europe Region.

2. ALLIANCE FOR DEVELOPMENT OF KIKINDA - ARK. ARK is the project of gathering prominent citizens of Kikinda on the matter of sustainable local development. The project covers three tracks: identification and analysis of the data on local development resources t design of planning, advocacy and activity strategy t promotion of relations with other two sectors on the local level t In 2000 ARK will be based on co-operation with European Movement in Serbia - Local Council in Kikinda and ALCD from Belgrade.

3. INCUBATOR MODEL CENTER - IMC is a logistic center for giving support to citizens in self-organizing and participating in local self-governing. t IMC offers especial services to the citizens willing to run its own business t IMC offers the services free of charge, according to the priority list, namely: to young people, women, invalids, refugees and unemployed, with additional benefits for family business t Clients of IMC take over soldiery responsibility to support further project development by means of donations, when they run its own business.

4. BUSINESSWOMEN CLUB encourages women of Kikinda to solve economic problems in organizing their own micro family business. t BUSINESSWOMEN CLUB acted as a form of strengthening of women solidarity, too.

5. NGO Center Kikinda is the project of local NGO networking. In cooperation with the Youth Center, DIŠTRIKT gathers local NGOs and informal groups, offering them offices, office services, Internet communications and consulting.
